I honestly hope our recent great NCAA run will replace great players like Butler and Eggleston. Yes, we do have great players already after they leave but how do you replace future Team USA player caliber? Are we on Hawaiian Top Player Devon's top 5? With the Covid bonus year, things are fuzzy. I'm sure that almost all coaches have had private conversations with their players asking if they're planning on taking the bonus year or not. And then, they convey this information privately to players they are recruiting. I mean, that's just a common sense take on it. I don't know how it is at Texas. |

If Logan is going to leave after the fall, Devin would be a huge pickup for us for ‘22. If she ends up committing elsewhere, I think Skylar showed us that she is more than capable of performing on the left and Parra would be a perfect L2. And we can go after ‘23 OH recruits.

In the last 15 years, Texas has signed more top 10 recruits than any other program other than perhaps Stanford. Recruiting blue chip talent really isn’t an issue for Texas 🤦♂️ |

Eggleston mentions it that she wants to go to the Olympics and have aspirations bigger than the NCAA BUT she also said that the reason why she came to Texas are for the final four and championship runs when she was being recruited. |

We’ve struggled to get many top 6-rotation outsides Correct. Eggleston has been once a generation recruit for us. A player that Stanford/Nebraska/Penn State would typically get. That's why I hope, we will get more recruits like Devin or Elia Rubin. |
