I don't want to say Stanford offered her, but... Stanford is going for the Hive duo (Harvey and Mendelson) and Blyashov. I hope Mendelson or Blyashov pick Texas. However, Blyashov is club mates with Tomkinson. So, I don't if she will follow suit. Do club mates follow each other? |

So basically we won't know who is using the extra year until they are seniors? Yes. The real decision isn't made until after the athlete's normal eligibility is exhausted. No decision made before then is binding, either by the athlete or the school. Remember that after the 21-22 academic year, any athlete that wants to return for their 5th (or 6th) year to use the "free" year must be offered a scholarship by the school and it will count against that sport's scholarship limit. I think a coach's job is hard enough without that uncertanty. Yikes. |

Obviously, Harvey and Mendelson are being recruited by everyone. |

I don't want to say Stanford offered her, but... Lol, make sense especially if Helmers committed to Texas. By the way, Helmers and Harvey are not really comparable. Harvey touches something like 10'6" and hits as hard as anyone in the class. |

Not implying anything. Just saying that Texas would have been looking at for different reasons, not to fill the same need. |

Obviously, Harvey and Mendelson are being recruited by everyone. The last time Texas signed two in the same class from the same club was Micaya White and Morgan Johnson. They played together at TAV. Chiaka and Ebony also played together at TAV, but of course we didn't sign Ebony out of high school. |

Is Byrd the #1 ranked recruit for 2023? For PrepVB, Byrd is #19 and Helmers is #22, but whatever, that's not a Tawa list. What kind of player is Helmers? Big hitter, good passer, etc.? |

But based off scholarship count their probably only looking at one outside for that class unless Devin decides to go elsewhere. |
