With Butler and Petersen leaving, there’s opportunity for Texas to pick up some good transfers in the portal. Looking at Hord as MB and Hampton/Fleck as Libero. Lucky to even just get ONE. Biggest priority is Fleck/Hampton!! |

I think most of knew this was coming but just thought that I would post it here! 3/4 recruits playing in this game in late December! http://instagr.am/p/CXB5Zy0Fd9N I didn't even know this existed. Cool that someone was willing to front an all stars tournament for volleyball players like they do for football. They use to play this match in the FinalFOUR city on the night after the national semi-finals. . . Now it’s in Orlando weeks later. They took a really convenient media opportunity for the best high school volleyball players and let them watch final four matches and ruined it. . . .sad |

Lol if JE has limited scholarships, 0% chance he's going after a MB. We have Asjia and Molly or Asjia and Singletary or whatever combo of those two. We NEED a Libero I just don’t see where you have an available scholarship to give. My understanding is that in 2022 the 12 scholarship limit is back in effect. Is someone on scholarship leaving? Maybe training the libero you have better would work out, she was given that L jersey for a reason, Elliott must believe she has talent. 👀 |

Tbh I think he should obviously go all in on Fleck and then also maybe get one of these other liberos in the portal as well. Hoping we can find a Civita-esque type of player out there who wants to come in and be a DS.
I think Halter will be great, I just wouldn't want to put so much pressure on her as a freshman to basically be everything. I think that's one of the things that makes Lexi Rodriguez's job much easier is that she has a great supporting back line. It's time for JE to go all in on the passing/defense as we clearly have the hitters.

Logan, Molly, Skylar, Melanie, Madison, Asjia, Nalani, Saige, Jhenna, Marianna, Emma, Devin
Now, if Jhenna is not on scholarship (I will never understand her situation), then there is one open.

I actually don't think we have an open 'ship at the moment for next season: Logan, Molly, Skylar, Melanie, Madison, Asjia, Nalani, Saige, Jhenna, Marianna, Emma, Devin Now, if Jhenna is not on scholarship (I will never understand her situation), then there is one open. I thought Logan’s gets a COVID year (5th) as long as UT has the funds to pay for it? But I haven’t ever fully understood the COVID year. |

Back to 12 limit scholarship starting next Fall (maybe even in January, but not positive). Individually, all players got that COVID redshirt season. |

I think the COVID year meant that in 2021, any players that should have been out of eligibility, but got the extra year could use a scholarship and the limit of 12 scholarships per team didn’t matter. Starting in 2022, you’re back to the limit of 12, so if you have players who want to stick around who wouldn’t have been part of the original plan, scholarship has to count within the 12. |
