We'll definitely leverage the transfer portal for 2023 as we have to have at least two setters on the roster. That should be the year we're in the SEC so we could potentially pull from the Big 12 teams.

This may be a well known fact that I just completely missed, but Sydney Helmers’ club website lists her at 6’5”! I had no idea…

everyone inflates height. college and club rosters. I automatically subtract 1.5" mentally from whatever the listing is.

Definitely think her, Skinner, and Parra all have 6 rotation potential moving forward! Exciting to see since that has been Texas’s downfall lately.

Preach. She may struggle to start, but she will get there. She’s the best prep product out of Hawaii in a very long time.

I'm happy Kahahawai found a home and will do well at Texas. But, I have to think that her playing for Hawaii would have really been good for the sport. Bring back the legends.

She's not 6'5" and that's okay. I wouldn't say it's for no reason. There are obviously other factors involved, but height helps. It's really about the impossibility of getting accurate measurements at times, and so forums like this go on these speculation trains trying to figure out what the height actually is. I've seen it happen regularly in all kinds of sports. It has very little to do with Helmers specifically, and more about fudging the height in the first place.
