Harvey and her parents experienced about as good of an atmosphere as possible tonight. Since you spoke to them, I have to assume you were watching them off and on during the game to judge their enjoyment of the game and atmosphere? Any takeaways?

From tv Harvey was getting up out of her seat cheering especially on big rallies

Did not speak with them, but just thought it was a great atmosphere for them to experience. They seemed to be enjoying it as others have noted. I thought it was interesting they were sitting in the student section area rather than where they typically put recruits on the East bleachers or behind the team benches. Also saw they were talking to some other recruits families, the Swindles specifically.

I don’t want to be greedy. Either Spears or Harvey. But getting them both would send me to the moon and back.
There’s certainly an opening there.
With Ogbodu, Butler, and O’Neal making significant contributions to the national team this summer there’s never been a more impressive time to be recruiting a middle, and Texas has always been great at recruiting middles in any case. Not to mention coming off the national championship.
Man, it would be so nice to beat both Stanford and Nebraska in a clear head to head recruiting battle. I won’t crumple if we lose her, but it would make me so excited to win this one.

Spears would be a horrible fit for Wisconsin. May I ask what makes you say that? Just that you want her to go to Texas, or is there something specific?

Harvey and her parents experienced about as good of an atmosphere as possible tonight. I’m a bit confused. Someone mentioned in the Stanford vs ASU thread that Harvey was at the Farm with another top recruit (Mullen) when the Card swept the Sun Devils last night.

Can I answer 🤔? 😀 sure even tho you weren’t asking me lol hehehe. Texas is a place for the best OHs in the country. 6 rotations is a bit mild, but spears would increase her offensive future at Texas and also have a good team experience which helps the college years be memorable. Wisconsin has become TRANSFER PORTAL UNIVERSITY which isn't attractive to freshman. They want to know their teammates and see who they will grow with as players. Though lots of teams are clearly using the portal, nobody flips teams as much as Wisconsin. They're basically running a pro level recruiting firm. I don't think Sheff is really even trying and fighting for '25 or '26 recruits out there. He is bringing in senior and junior athletes from the portal..... it can get timid for 16 year olds to look at from the outside. I think people are viewing Sheff as a place that isn't trying to find young talent and develop it. He is grabbing juniors and seniors and trying to win his championships that way. I see lots of team chemistry issues this season.... it's hard to get kids to gel quickly on the court. Is he withilding freshman scholarships to wait on the portal? 🤔 JE has a great vibe as a coach, cares lots about a 4 year development with his recruits and works hard to set them up for their futures.

LMAOOO, just say I'm a Nebraska fan and I have an irrational hatred for Wisconsin because they've owned us. Because ain't no other way your head could possibly justify calling Wisconsin a transfer university and then turn around, with a serious face, says JE "cares a lot about 4-year development with his recruits LOL. Right now, Texas has FIVE (!!) transfers as starters/DS in their preferred starting lineup (Bergmark, Akana, Barnes, Weenas, Skinner). Wisconsin has FOUR (Booth, TTA, Crawford, Franklin) despite playing in a 6-2 which requires more players LOL. Just in case you never learned math, 5 > 4. Texas won the title last year with literally All-Stars transfers all over in his lineup (Akana, Fleck, Skinner, Saige, Caffey). And I would certainly hope Sheff isn't out there trying for '26 recruits, because you know, that would be kinda illegal. Are you implying Nebraska and/or other top schools are already trying for '26 recruits? Damn, the NCAA needs to look into this. As for '25 recruits, you realize Wisconsin currently have a top 5 class right? And just had Sulli Davis, a top 10 OH recruit, on an official recruiting visit a couple weeks ago? And have Spears on another visit (hopefully soon)? And have the top setter in the class coming in for '24 next year? The one that just set USA in the finals to a reverse sweep at the U19 World Championship? Like, what is this terrible troll job LOL?
