Since a few posters on the Texas thread prefer to discuss soccer, hoops, and football today, tonight would be a good night to catch up on some recruiting info. Ayden Ames' Prosper team lost in the 6A state semi-finals to Conroe Grand Oaks who went on to win the championship. But delivering the knockout punch is something that a lot of opponents have struggled to accomplish against the Lady Grizzlies, and Friday was no different, as Grand Oaks rallied from a 10-4 deficit in the fifth set to stun Prosper, 26-28, 12-25, 28-26, 25-22, 15-12 from The Curtis Culwell Center.
Texas commit Ayden Ames had a stretch midway through the set in which she just put up big swing after big swing, recording five kills in a seven-point span with her fifth finish over that span of play putting the Lady Eagles on top, 19-9. Ames left it out on the court in her final time suiting up in a Lady Eagles uniform.
