capri davis is a longhorn Does this mean Parra will be a '21? Or is someone leaving? I don't think she'd come as a non-scholarship player. But a welcome addition as Texas needs depth at the pins. One thing to consider, scholarship-wise, is that Micaya graduated May 2019. So, she's been "going to grad school", but may just drop out of Spring 2020 and play pro. Then, Davis can take her second-half of the 2019-2020 scholarship. |

I would think someone currently on scholarship is moving on, unless I am mis-counting scholarship numbers.

Not sure why I've been having so many issues posting tweets the last week or so; if someone can post the one tweet from Texas Volleyball that would be appreciated.
And, if you tell me what i'm doing wrong, that would be even better! I tried boy "copying" and "embedding" the tweet.

Regarding Capri: I stop by the home thread of her former team every so often*. Recently the thread was:
1) Hey, I just saw her on the beach roster, cool! She's staying! 2) Hey, I saw her hanging with the other players recently. Yeah, OH's having fun and bonding for next year. Yeah, she's solid for next year.
It just is...until it isn't.
*but I don't drop snarky comments on their site because I hate it when their superfans do it to ours

I actually posted the tweet twice -- first time as I "copied" it from twitter; second time as I "embedded" it. So, that garbage you see is the embedded attempt. Wonder why it doesn't display for me; I'm using Internet Explorer like most times. Which browser are you using?

I switched to Firefox, and the tweet shows fine; must be a problem with IE. No wonder I see a lot of other threads with completely blank posts/replies.

Now that I think about it, that's a lot chutzpah.
You go into your arch-enemy's den, wearing burnt orange while your (cough, cough) team's season is going on and show the Horns Up.
I mean, it's obvious that the negotiation in the background between the coaches has been going on for a while to make this a fairly seamless transfer announcement.
Still get a giggle at some threads predictions based on social media postings

I recall posting a few weeks ago that Capri started following TexasVolleyball and Ebony Nwanebu on twitter. That told me she was indeed transferring out of Nebraska, even though there was never any statement from Capri that she was moving on. Some thought it was no big deal since she was following Baylor, also. Regardless, her following both schools on twitter was a good indicator of her intent to transfer out of Nebraska.
