Remember, this is a recruiting and transfer thread. So some of the misses this next cycle? They may show up in Austin their junior year. Now THAT is a long recruiting cycle. Agreed. In regards to Flynn, whatever conversations JE and the staff had, they didn't burn any bridges or leave her with a bad impression. Cook could retire at anytime and they are far too good at recruiting not to realize she could be back on the table sooner or later. if things don’t work out at Nebraska I wouldn’t be shocked if she ended up in Austin. Now if Harris commits that could change things too.

I hope things are going to be okay. I’ve been a little disappointed with the results both on the court and in talent acquisition the last couple of years. We need to step things up a notch.

Can someone explain tomorrow for me a little bit? Do girls usually commit or is it just a day where offers come through.

It has to be a lot of fun recruiting at Texas with the amazing staff Texas has. Austin isn’t a bad place to live either 🤷🏻♂️. It’s a great day to be a Longhorn. Hook’em 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Cook could retire at anytime and they are far too good at recruiting not to realize she could be back on the table sooner or later. Yep, Cook is on a day to day deal… but considering he just signed a 5 year contract it doesn’t appear retirement will come any day soon. You clowns make me laugh… yes you won the championship last fall…good job, well done Texas, a well deserved title, but it’s not as if, despite what I read from Texas fans, that you were the best team in 2023-you were the “best” team for a 48 hour period last December, that’s all. You certainly weren’t the best team when you went to Long Beach…or K-State… or even the week before the final four when you were staring at MATCH point against mighty Tennessee. So let’s not make 2023 more than it was-your portal team won the title but to say you were the best team in 2023 is just laughable. You were lucky Tennessee choked on match point or 2023 would have just been another sweet16 end of the tournament for Jerritt and his yes men. Keep talking about players you want to portal to your team-it’s amusing, and Ron likes it too. 🏐

You know the thing every team wants to do at the beginning of the season. And I noticed you didn’t mention how that championship game went. Texas could have choked off 15 match points and still beat Nebraska. Flat out embarrassed them on National TV. Made it nice that was it was the 2nd December in a row that Texas was the best team in the country. Please keep talking about all the breaks that happened for Texas. Typically those happen for championship teams.

Whether he/she likes it or not, we were undefeated against the B1G (winning at Minnesota, and then embarrassing Wisconsin and Nebraska in Tampa) to claim B1G Championship honors, as well! We took out three #1 seeds along the way. Nobody can state our team backed their way into a championship due to a slew of upsets making our path easier against lower-seeded teams; the team earned it every step of the way.
