she was given a deadline by Texas All I said was Texas has clearly shown to be patient on some players who want a longer recruiting process. Flynn committing the day after recruiting communication is allowed does not fall into that category. no but it was possible she was turned off by it and chose Nebraska as a result. Only she knows .

I mean sure that’s a possibility but that’s not really what I was talking about. Also if she was turned off by being “rushed” into a decision, why commit to another school in less than 48 hours of communication? Don’t know that it makes too much sense to me, but sure it’s possible. She clearly liked both schools though

LOL if you think Nebraska doesn't give deadlines. John Cook is very well known for using them to get his recruiting class settled early. It was reported on the Husker thread that Cook gave the 2023 class setter offers to both Reilly and Swindle, and told them that the first one to accept got the scholarship. I believe the same happened with their recruitment of Siegler/Spears for OH in the '25 class. You seem to be pushing a narrative that Flynn chose Nebraska because she was somehow treated badly or turned off by Texas, without any basis. It's possible she just likes Nebraska better. Happens all the time

Did we ever manage to pull together a full list of the elite/recruitment camp attendees?

Happens all the time I think it was Opposite hitter Abigail Mullen from Missouri who ended up picking USC.

Do we think Harvey or AVW have a chance to make the U21 team as 17 year olds? It's so hard to say. Last year, AVW was MVP of U19 World's, and Harvey rocked it at U21 World's. At the same time, the college girls are back, the other high schoolers/recent grads were also very good last year, and they often only bring 3 outside and 3 middles to these junior events. There's only 4 players I see as locks on the training roster.

Do we think Harvey or AVW have a chance to make the U21 team as 17 year olds? Congrats to both Vander Wow as well as Harvey. Also, congrats to Nebraska with 6 players associated with their program making the team. Half of the roster is associated with Nebraska. I find that incredible.

Remember, this is a recruiting and transfer thread. So some of the misses this next cycle? They may show up in Austin their junior year. Now THAT is a long recruiting cycle.

In regards to Flynn, whatever conversations JE and the staff had, they didn't burn any bridges or leave her with a bad impression. Cook could retire at anytime and they are far too good at recruiting not to realize she could be back on the table sooner or later.

Do we think Harvey or AVW have a chance to make the U21 team as 17 year olds? Wow, what a stacked roster! Not sure how you cut that down to 12.
