Who do you think is better equipped right now/how they look to start in college - Spears or AVW? I've seen AVW participate in USA Youth teams in the past few seasons but Spears have been getting a lot of attention in recruiting circle as well? I don't follow either of them tremendously but we have the top 2 of 3 OHs coming in next year. Is this another Micaya/Yazzie once again?

I think Spears has the heavier arm and perhaps a better block, but AVW is much more of an all around player at the moment. Much better passer, and better ability to manage out of system situations. Spears has a better chance at opposite if she were to play her first year IMO, similar to Fields in that way. Fields never developed her passing but did become elite in OOS situations on the left. |
