good enough to be recruited to Nebraska so that’s pretty solid. She was a walk on, who barely played in her two years. I dont think her coming from Nebraska makes her that solid, as only nebraska insiders who have watched her play in practice could tell you how well she played.

Even though this is the 2020 thread, I thought I would bring to light the 2021 recruits which I think will be Cal Poly's best recruiting class. Don't know what her situation was at Nebraska. Where,...on the pecking order she found herself. At CAL POLY she will most likely be competing with Lea Ungar & Taylor Rose,...both juniors-to-be. Guessing Chen Abramovich, RSoph-to-be, is a preferred walk-on.

With the introduction of transfer junior-to-be Kristina Jordan, OH from West Virginia,...I can see someone taking a redshirt in 2020.
The coaching staff at CAL POLY is beginning to have the luxury to groom their incoming freshmen.
This can only bode well for future POLY teams.

Looks like CP will be the team to beat in 2021.

But good for Cal Poly if they can rebound well from those 3 big losses.

Looks like CP will be the team to beat in 2021 imo. Long Beach will prob be the team to beat in '21. S Mia Tuaniga, freshman OH Starr Williams (one of the best players in her class), OH Jaylen Jordan, MB Kameron Bacon all added to Kashauna Williams and Allison Martinez who were the most terminal pin duo in the BW in 2019 (the only pair above 40% termination rate in the conference).

CAL POLY's AD went with Caroline Walters,...a somewhat proven commodity. Getting Jason Borchin to return to coach again at CAL POLY another quality piece to the puzzle. Both Walters and Borchin are doing a "super" job evaluating and bringing in talented players from throughout the country.

I thought the Caroline Walters hire was going to be a bust but she is just the opposite. In her first year she had her best player go down and they still made the tournament and the round of 32, developed a 4th team all American and is attracting some nice incoming recruits. She is doing a very good job and hopefully Cal Poly becomes a perennial NCCA tourney participant with the capability of making some noise.

With the loss of only Mika Dickson from the starting rotation. That hole seems to have been filled,..threefold.

The 2020 CAL POLY WVB roster has not been posted yet.
It will be interesting to see what that looks like.

This past week CAL POLY's AD, Don Oberhelman, spoke out optimistically in favor of some kind of format to proceed with a recorded WVB season for 2020.
Financially CAL POLY is flexible on whether having a spectator or no-spectator venue is in place.
Mr. Oberhelman also eluded to having the new Commish, Dan Butterly, create an ESPN style TV network for the Big West Conference,...ASAP!
