I was concerned at first after the second set. If the wahine play like they did in sets 3 and 4, they're gonna give SD some problems Put down the Kool-aid. Be quiet and go away. Nobody wants you here.

Unpopular opinion : UNC just looked bad in that set. They couldn’t pass a ball to save their life and swung straight into large middle blockers out of system. I will give Hawaii credit later because they did look good, but everyone attributing that set score to Rasmussen sounds silly. We aren’t attributing anything to anyone. What we are saying is that Jolie’s presence on that floor as we’ve seen from the beginning of he season until her injury....has made a ton a difference. Her presence, her vocal leadership, her guidance, and her aura on the floor lifts this team. It reminds me when she was on that floor to start the season and this team meshed extremely well. I’ll put these two comments on the same post so I don’t get ripped apart too much.. 1) You said you aren’t attributing anything to anyone, and then attributed “a ton of difference” to Rasmussen because of her “presence, guidance, and aura.” Those are the most Hawaiian phrases ever so I’ll just plead ignorance. She played well, but I was also impressed by the big freshmen. 2) That being said, this is the first Hawaii match I’ve watched this year. Both of your middles are badass. Your setter was solid. Your libero made some highlight worthy digs. Your outsides can bomb despite their size. Your OPP is good, and her backup freshmen has a ton of potential. And I really like Ah Mows intensity. I look forward to watching them match up against San Diego and even better teams if they make it further. I just think UNC played poorly in the 3rd set especially. Best of luck to Hawaii!

If we don't get swept tomorrow we should consider ourselves lucky.
Silver lining next year's lineup choices can't get worse.

Be quiet and go away. Nobody wants you here. We'd be going to the final four if I had a say in the lineup. Have some respect for your program.

there were some sketch setting decisions early on, but looking at the stats it shows how well distributed the sets were. kudos to bailey and iosia for a balanced offense

So you are admitting that you haven’t seen this team up until today. Lol Ok I’ll accept that. Obviously it took the entire team in that set....but Hawaii fans know Jolie brings something to this team on that floor that uplifts them. Mental or spiritual or whatever you want to call it. You would know that by simply watching YouTube replays of the beginning of the season with her starting. The aura was there then and with her slowly back in there....it is clearly back now. Again, Hawaii fans would acknowledge that and many on here have. Mahalo.
