Guess that answers that question for UCLA’s setting in the Fall it does? I dunno anything about her as I don't follow Kansas State VB, but she didn't even get all conference in the Big 12, as a senior setter. *shrug*

However UCLA definitely needs more than what they currently have at the setting position, especially with your best option recovering from injury

She is very good at distributing the ball, a good blocker, and knows when to go over on 2. She will surprise at UCLA.

Didn't Skinner play opposite as well early in her career? Why not move Harrison? Pressley is good enough that she will get her kills no matter where she is on the court. She consistently hits a “D” ball out of the back right and I believe she would remain an option even when out of system. Add that she played on the right side her freshman year, the transition would be more natural for her. That’s to say, I think Pressley’s offensive contribution would take less of a hit than Harrison’s would if she were to move to the right side. Pressley’s also the best blocker out of the three, so moving her over would utilize that skill more. Harrison at OH1 and Skinner at OH2 just seems to make sense to me. This. Harrison played RS and OH in club and was so much better on the LS. She wants to be a 6 rotation player as well. I think Lauren as an OH 1 is more of a banger, where as Skinner can be more of the do it all, finesse player. Pressley has always looked to be a 6 rotation opposite to me. VDM never really got consistent enough on the RS to really be a force IMO and the Baylor staff know they need more production across the net.

All conference awards? The Pac 12 libero of the year wasn't all conference in the BW in 2019. Spring was also Martin's first season in the Big 12 after 3 seasons at East Carolina, where she was AAC freshman of the year and twice all-AAC. One of Martin's strengths is her location on back sets. K-State didn't have an Opp like Ndiaye. Martin makes the UCLA offense a lot more dangerous.

I think it’s probably their best option. I’ll be curious how Skinner can adjust to Baylor’s setting.. I think Pressley should use this year to develop her game on the right.. even if she doesn’t like it, it’s going to be where she’s put as a pro Well since there’s no Lilley setting Skinner, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see her hitting percentage drop 100 points. Not even kidding, I can see it being around .250. She’s not going to be getting nearly as many single blocker match ups unless the Baylor passing improves and one of the Baylor setters gets a lot better Baylor passing isn’t bad. They were one of the best passing teams this past year. They just had no consistent setter, middle, or opp this past season.

But those were also probably the two toughest serving teams they faced so that would’ve made sense
