The Devaney Center Kiss of Death. Last year I was at Wayne Kreklow’s last match for Missouri. This year I attended Geoff’s last match at tOSU. Both in Lincoln. “Nebraska nice” Speaking of Nebraska nice, has anyone poached one of your assistant coaches lately. We know Nebraska likes to share. tOSU shouldn't go for a current Husker assistant, but a former one. DBK will keep all the current commits, lockdown Ohio, and has great relationships in Indiana, Kentucky, and Arizona, for future recruiting efforts.

This sounds like a great opportunity for Steve Aird to make another intra-conference move.

Don’t know what you’re talking about. Can’t happen. I won’t believe it. I think the Nebraska sharing is one sided. They are on receiving end alot

It would be a great hire, regardless of how much cognitive dissonance this would create for my brain.

This sounds like a great opportunity for Steve Aird to make another intra-conference move. Lol that’s actually first name I thought of but does he make a second move cause u would think when rose retires he would be one of the candidates being psu alum. How many intra conference transfers does he want to make before that?

If I were the AD and knew nothing about volleyball coaches (which, coincidentally, happen to be actually true in my case! LOL!), I’d get the one or two volleyball experts on staff and get them to compile the following lists for me:
1. Top 10 college head coaches and their respective salaries 2. Top 10 young college head coaches and their respective salaries 3. Top 10 college assistant coaches and their respective salaries 4. Top 10 college coaches who are also tOSU alums 5. The phone numbers of any of my relatives who are also volleyball coaches somewhere in the boonies
Also, my staff will suggest that all this should be done by AVCA Convention in Pittsboygh because all coaches will be there. And book me a fancy schmancy room there in Pittsboygh with a suite while you’re at it.
Chop chop...

What’s Dan Fisher’s number 555-USC-UCLA Fisher interviewed and was not offered at USC. Unless UCLA is paying 500k plus he’d be taking a pay cut.

I think DBK would be a great move for tOSU. Would she be willing to leave Louisville?

Funny, I was just about to post, “Steve Aird will make a move to Ohio State to get one step closer to his goal of completing the full circle at Penn State.” It would satisfy my goal of next coach staying in psu family although I was kinda wanted it to be a woman and have the first woman coach to win a title be from psu. Wise has been trying along time. Think she’s only one that’s gotten close. Rockwell was perfect then it disappeared. Like I said though psu has former players coaching in some capacity all over the country. Weather any of them are ready for that kind of move is another thing entirely. Glass at Stanford, carpenter at Maryland, Blair brown head coach at buffalo, I think McClendon is doing something. I’ve always though harmatto/die zen would make phenomenal coach just don’t know if she wants to coach and she would def need grooming but she is a leader. Is kalenna Davidson available. Her and Rockwell were a huge part of recruiting success in past.

I know folks are joking about Aird, but his season this year at Indiana isn't going to be much of an attraction for even Rutgers, much less OSU.
