I know folks are joking about Aird, but his season this year at Indiana isn't going to be much of an attraction for even Rutgers, much less OSU. The difference between Indiana and Rutgers is that the Rutgers athletic department is seemingly uninterested in volleyball success.

I think DBK would be a great move for tOSU. Would she be willing to leave Louisville? I think it would be a good hire, but OSU is in position to hire a proven championship level head coach. DBK has the promise of being that, but that’s a different thing.

Looks like Susan Halverson-Maloney has been tagged with the interim title. The way her husband was carving up Carlston on the Illinois broadcast last week makes sense now. They probably knew he was already gone.
The most damning thing to me is how the best talent in Ohio generally stayed away from his program.

If you sign the 2 best kids from Ohio every year, you are consistent top 25 maybe at minimum.

The new coach would have to look good in red w/ silver trims. Not everyone looks good in those colors.

Yeah, I think it’s fair to say that playing against Paige Jones and Jonni Parker every year is pretty humiliating.

Fisher interviewed and was not offered at USC. Unless UCLA is paying 500k plus he’d be taking a pay cut. Is that true? The legend was that he wasn't interested.

Erin Virtue is an Associate head coach at Northwestern and has ties/experience with the USA National team. Worth a look.
I don’t know. Maybe people don’t get too crazy about Columbus, OH. For me, Ohio, Montana, Idaho, and the Deep South are at the bottom of my list.

Anyway, my "555-USC-UCLA" comment simply made a point that he's a West Coast guy and there are always good opportunities for a proven coach at West Coast schools.
