This would be like UMBC defeating Virginia in the 2018 NCAA men's basketball tourney. Not that UCSB is as out-talented as UMBC was, but it would still be incredible. It’s like a 8 seed beating a 1. Not that dramatic but rarely happens in vball. UCSB is surely a better team than Texas is used to facing in the 1st round, but what's UT's record in 1st round tourney matches, especially at home? While not unthinkable, #44 beating #3 according to Pablo in #3's house would be huge. |
