Would she have to sit out a year in order to play at another BIG school? She has two years of eligibility left. She has been at Maryland for four years (two redshirt years due to injury) and may graduate this year, which would make the BIG transfer restriction moot. I think Grad transfers are exempt from the sit out rule wothij conference. Anyone know for sure.

Thats Nov of 2019. Our OH situation is an issue so if she can play we might need her. Especially if she really did hit a growth spurt and is listed at 6’4”.

Nothing has unexpected changed to our OH situation since Nov 2019. Watched her club team she seems like she could do good in the BIG. She just has to get stronger and more aggresive. I hope Holzman can make a full recovery she can fill that void that Quade left.

Haven't been here for a while. Love Mom Kuper's attempts at neutrality. But assuming there will be more than sibling golf this coming season, I see the Illini as an emerging power next season.

With a very heavy heart, I'd like to honor 1999 Illini alum Tracey Marshall who has sadly passed away. The All-Time Career Digs leader at her time, the outstanding outside hitter is a former Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year, and currently sits at the following in the record books:
#7 - All-Time Career Kills #4 - All-Time Career Digs #1 - Career Double-Doubles
Her on-court prowess undeniable, she was an amazing presence off the court. A true community leader who dedicated her life to helping and fighting for the under-privileged. There was NO student-athlete left behind under her watch. An unbelievable coach, mentor, and friend. She has left many missing her terribly, but undeniably better for having her in their lives.

RIP Tracey. Hard to believe that it has been over 20 years since she wore the orange and blue.

Per the D1 Transfers (2020) thread, Jenny Mosser will transfer from UCLA to Kansas this fall. My recollection was that she was said to have visited UIUC, and there was chatter about her potentially joining the Illini. Best of luck to her in the Big 12!
Hope all you Illini faithful are doing well and staying safe. I miss chatting with you about our team and look forward to the conversation picking up when this passes. Fingers crossed we can safely have some volleyball to watch in Huff this fall! Take care out there.
