 Jordan Thompson deserves NPOY. Congrats on an excellent career Jordan! An amazing leader and teammate who stayed loyal to her coaching staff and school that helped her grow (and didn't listen to the critics). A real legendary game-changer. She will be missed! Congrats to Penn State -- they did what they had to do to win, which was control the ball and feed their middles. Cincinnati needed to score at the outside pin and they did that -- but just weren't able to dig up enough balls and get enough quality chances to them. What a hell of a fight from an outmatched team though. Cincinnati served good enough for most of the match to give their team a chance. The real fail was on the blocking and digging end. Their serve and even predictable attack did its job. Way to still go out with a fight though! |

I feel bad that Jordan was the one with the hitting error on match point. She didn't deserve to go out that way. I love her game since I saw her break onto the FIVB scene(I don't get why the announcers kept saying Olympics). Cause neither of them know what FIVB is. 😂 |

Jordan Thompson finished the season with an average of 6.38 kills/set, breaking her own 25-point rally scoring record of 6.27 that she set last season. Hopefully, she wins National Player of the Year, and I can't wait to see more of her on the national team.

Penn State hit .445 and outblocked Cincinnati 15-1 and STILL was in a battle late in the 5th set? That's... incredible. Especially when you consider Penn State only has to really worry about 2 hitters, one of which is like 5'8?

Wow I really feel so emo for JT. I wish she made it to elite 8 but making it to Sweet 16 is, in itself, a great feat. Congrats also to Cincy for surpassing all expectations. JT is a legend.
NOW GET ON A PLANE TO ITALY/TURKEY AND GET THAT CA$H AND REPS! So excited to see her VNL 2020 and OG!
