As Regional hosts, Baylor's and Stanford's average home attendance may get enough of a boost to move them up a few places in the rankings, but Wisconsin and Texas will remain #2 and #5 overall. 1___8,186 Nebraska 2___7,052 Wisconsin 3___6,684 Hawaii 4___5.471 Minnesota 5___3,854 Texas 6___3,540 Penn St. 7___3,101 Michigan St. 8___2,876 Florida 9___2,868 Stanford 10__2,814 Washington 19__1,986 Baylor stats.ncaa.org/reports/attendance?id=18755

Tough to draw a big crowd when you play at 11:00am on a Friday morning.

I’m sure they drew more than that for the 2 days that were played. Unless that was the average per match?

Hawaii box score attendance figures read 7818 (N. Colorado) and 8058 (San Diego). Maybe that low figure is turnstile?
Edit: Oh I see, is it home attendance for the whole season?

Tough to draw a big crowd when you play at 11:00am on a Friday morning. Don't quote me on this but I think there's a good chance Baylor students are already out for the holidays. When I was at Texas, we were generally the last school to be released. All the other schools in Texas had their last week of class prior to Thanksgiving.

If FL-MN match is any indication, TX will look dismal tomorrow night.

Attendace at Friday's Regional Semi matches
7,052 Wisconsin 4,137 Texas 2,609 Stanford 1,848 Baylor
Wisconsin did great, credit to their fan base and program. But scheduling these matches on a Friday during the day (Baylor played at 11 a.m.) seems to hurt a little.
That 2,609 number for Stanford is a sad. They played at 8 p.m. in a what was maybe the most anticipated match of the day.

It was pretty full yesterday, but there were still, very unfortunately (as I know people who wanted to get in), empty seats. It's very hard to imagine why people who know nothing about and don't care about volleyball would buy reserved seats and then not show up...but they do. There were also empty general admission seat up high...and then there were crazy people in line long before the doors opened, too.
