Lots of questions and speculations about next year at this point. Yes Nebraska is a young team, but other BIG teams return a lot too, including WI. Expectations were probably a little too high this year, but Coach Cook always sets high goals. Seems to me NE played up to its potential this year considering the role of freshman and losses suffered this year. Enjoyed the season, especially the growth of the players as the season progressed. Looking forward to beach and 2020. GBR!

I am going to say yes there is a chance. Id fall over stunned if she did. But would be grateful if she did and if there was an improvement in that position. Callie just doesnt make an impact out there. Agreed. Meyer has a lot of work to do, athletic as all get out.

Meyer has a lot of work to do, athletic as all get out. Agreed. Physicality is not the issue with Meyer. It’s extremely rare to get someone out of high school that is as freakin’ strong as she is. She just needs more experience with high-level volleyball. She hasn’t been deeply embedded in club volleyball for as long as other recruits. Give her time to pick up the skills, especially footwork.

It'd be nice to see Zuhn really develop before next fall.. Our bench is quite thin with Capri out

Ball control and more consistent setting have to happen for the Huskers to be in Omaha in 2020. Outside of Knuckles who has lots of promise I'm not certain the current bench of DS's have what we need to improve in the area of ball control.

Her serve is one of the best on the team and hopefully she can improve her instincts on tip coverage and serve recieve. She just doesn’t move her feet quick enough- always jumping forward after the fact. Densberger is going to be a senior and she still just doesn’t have it.

Thoughts about the return of Davis? Coming back or no?

Davis - I have seen her out with some of her teammates (Nicklin, Anezka, Callie, and Chen). I think it depends on playing time.

Agree with passing needs to improve. Knuckles needs to be a vocal leader out on the court. How much will Nicklin work with here teammates to improve her setting connections? Her connection with Stivrins was either on or off real bad. Granted passing at times was rough. A lot of work this winter, spring, and off season before August 2020.

I've been told probably not, not at least right away.
