Texas made it to the NC game with this exact situation and I think this Kentucky team is better than that Texas team, so🤷🏻♂️ Wait, which NC game? 2016 against Stanford. Yazzie Bedart Ghani, who was our opposite in 2015 and had never played middle, was put at M2 at the beginning of the year and we fell just short of a natty that year.

Ah, I'm not just talking about someone playing out of position though. YBG played as an M2. Tealer essentially plays as an opposite, or at least, she mostly hits as an opposite, while blocking in the middle, as the M1.

I thought you were talking generally about an opp moving to middle

I thought you were talking generally about an opp moving to middle I thought the same thing. The difference is YBG was 6'4 and Tealer is 5'10. As of late Tealer had been some more swings out if the middle. But still predominantly on the right side.

Setting is my only worry. I agree Madi Skinner will move left. Rutherford at OPP or maybe Fisher. We do have a pretty good middle coming in. Grome is the setter coming in. Good hands, quick but undersized at 5'9, being generous. But they also have Cameron S and Rutherford as setters. But Tharp and Walker will be great, or Beavin(incoming) is solid as well on defense. Also not sold on Grome. Good assessment.
With setters Grome, Scheitzach and possibly Rutherford and also OPPs Tealer, Rutherford and maybe possibly Fisher. Could a 6-2 be in the cards? Then Williams and Goetzinger both play middle?

K I’ve seen enough, 6 QUALITY players transferring out of Missouri. Fire Taylor. This isn’t some coincidence Is Fuentes really transferring or was I seeing things in the transfer thread?! Yes she is

Great representation from Florida. I have to admit I thought It would be closer. I think they can beat Wisconsin tomorrow.

Will be curious to see how Kentucky comes out tonight against Purdue. hIf they play like last night they will be in the finals. They are my vote to win it all.

Florida played a HELLUVA game tonight. That 1st set should’ve gone their way. I’m super proud of them!!!!!!

In the past I'd probably say something like "Florida should've won in 4" after that 30-28 loss. But the team that won, earned it, therefore deserving it. Tough loss, but only because it REALLY could've gone the Gators' way so many times. They're going to be SCARY next year.

Best play by Florida all year. Wish they could have pulled it out. Would love to see them play Texas.
