Y’all don’t have Williams as a starting MB for Kentucky next year? That’s arguably their weakest position. She makes them better from Day 1. Goetz had a really good freshman campaign pre-injury. I still have reservations about Tealer (and I think we'll learn about how this "experiment" works in the tourney), but she's also been outstanding. I think Williams could start over either, but it may depend on whether Skinner goes back to a more traditional middle set-up. I agree though, I don't know how you leave the #8 recruit off the floor.

At least in SEC play, Tealer is doing very well: blocking and hitting. You're right, she is unproven in the tourney, but IMO she should unseat Goetzinger before Tealer.

There's just a reason top teams don't slot an extra opposite in the M1 (while letting them continue to hit on the RS). That being said, I am truly hoping she is a revelation. Who knows -- maybe replacing your M1 with another OPP becomes the new key to success!

K I’ve seen enough, 6 QUALITY players transferring out of Missouri. Fire Taylor. This isn’t some coincidence

K I’ve seen enough, 6 QUALITY players transferring out of Missouri. Fire Taylor. This isn’t some coincidence I wouldn't include grad transfers, since the extra covid year definitely allows far more of those, but I'm assuming that one of those 6 is from last year (Caffey)? Hot seats take a while to heat up, unless you're UVA or inadvertently caught up in a cheating scandal's posse. Reverse transfer U Edit: Just to be clear, I really don't have an impression on the Taylors (ok, really Josh). It's a shame that one of its most exciting classes evaporated (Omazic just ran into bad luck, which may have exacerbated things). I think they (Mizzou) are still a great program but it is a head scratcher, especially with an upcoming rebuild even without the transfers.

Texas made it to the NC game with this exact situation and I think this Kentucky team is better than that Texas team, so🤷🏻♂️
