11 weekends with 13 opponents, so two left out? And what do they mean by geographic and competitive "balance." I It means Nebraska and Penn State won’t play each other and neither will play Minnesota.......

I just watched the BTN rebroadcast of Minn @ PSU from 2019 (2018?), and it was close all the way through five sets. Great fun to see!

Out of curiosity... where would you host the event? Madison = Kohl Center (was hosted there before, I think 1998). Capacity is >17,000 Milwaukee = Fiserv Forum (where the Bucks play) Capacity is >17,000 Ah, cool. I've only briefly been in Madison so I wasn't sure what was available. The Fiserv Forum makes sense if Marquette was the Host school.

Maybe in the old days, but the host these days is the entity that puts the bid in and it seems like that's usually just a munincipality or even just a venue.

There still needs and institution to be a “host” per ncaa national championship bid requirements

So this is what it looks like inside now! This is bad. It makes me want to see volleyball even more, and we are likely not going to get inside until the Kamala Harris Administration. Damn! Maybe they'll let us walk through...with a mask and one-at-a-time, for a fee, as an athletic dept. fundraiser. :0(

We aren't doing a great job in Wisconsin to get us anywhere close to being together anytime soon.
I went by the fieldhouse one day two weeks ago at dawn. Looked fabulous.

We're gonna see the US get closed down again before the season starts, aren't we? The situation is absolutely getting out of hand. They were right to plan on sending the kids home permanently for Tday.

Waiting for PCR test to confirm or reveal it to be a false positive. But, definitely a troubling sign

The chief of Staff for president said it is out of control and there is nothing to be done but wait for treatment or vaccine and everytime the Governor tries to do anything there is a lawsuit and he loses. Ironically, despite the quarterback situation, the campus is less than 1% positive now.

I sure hope so. We're doing OK here too - only 1.3% for all of Long Island. Creeping up very slowly though. People getting a tiny bit lazy just as the weather gets colder and forces them inside.

not sure if this has been posted or not, and not completely relevant to this years team, but here is something to watch for the Bates and Duello fans 😅
