In Dane County, the most new cases are being traced to bars and parties.

I went to the new Young Blood Beer Company for my second visit there at opening today. I may go out for beer, but I am going to be very careful about what types of places I go to (only ones that take safety measures seriously) and when I go (when I think there will be fewer people there). Of course, you couldn't pay me enough to go to the most crowded student oriented bars even before the pandemic.

They expect one or two more players to come in Wrobel's class according to this article. Unless those are walk-ons, it will leave a schollie unused in 2021 by our estimates. What do they do with that?

What do they do with that? My intel has Gregorski and MacDonald being on partials, so I'm guessing it goes to one of them that year.

Looks like Wrobel was the only sophomore listed in VolleyballMag's 25 Underclassman to Watch this year:

Bummer about Whitehead.
No kidding: I told Rainbowspouse that she was retiring due to concussions, and they replied, “How? Bates graduated years ago!”

Were you both there when Bates almost took out a Louisville back row player with her first collegiate kill down the line in 2014? It was right in front of where I was sitting at the Pav.

That day in 2014 was a really good one. I visited Minneapolis for the first time in a decade, saw the 2014 Badger team was going to be quite good, and Carlini hugged a girl in the stands after the match (Hilley), which boded really well for the future.

Bates almost took her head off. In 2016 we attended an open practice, and Saunders was in warmups on the bench. Afterwards I talked to her. Me: What happened? JS: Concussion. Bates hit me in the head. Me: Ball? Or fist? JS: Ball. *giggles* If it were fist it wouldn’t be as bad.

Okay...I am bored. I have re-watched, like, 10 Badger 2019 v-ball matches numerous times since mid-March. The National Semifinal maybe 8 times itself. So here's my question: What was your "2019 Point of the Year" for the Badgers? For me: Point 35 of the 4th Set in Pittsburgh. Badgers came back from 14-17 to make it 23-18, and this was the decisive sequence with Duello capping UW's defensive comeback (Haggerty plays the ball off the net, Hart one-hand saves) with a one-on-one kill against Pressley. I still yell when I see that ball hit the floor! What about you? There were a bunch of other spectacular points during the season. Tell me one you remember.

Oh yeah...I remember that one, too...the Barnesy-Tiffany combo frustrating Lexi Sun. Great point.

Capped a 4 point run and prompted Baylor to take their last TO. Haggerty & Rettke steamrolled them 7-2 from there.... The entire close of that set was pretty special, going from down 14-17 to a 25-19 win!
