Rettke has always had some nasty serves, but consistency and errors have been issues with her. Great to see how much improvement she had, as it is a big advantage to have your middle who serves be a strong server to make that rotation a lot tougher for opponents.

Given the passing and serving numbers and their issues with having setters rotating due to injuries, Minnesota did really well last season, obviously.

I always liked that rotation for the occasional sets that Rettke would get out of the pipe. That was a sight.

Since a couple of people seemed interested, this is the B10 conference ranked by the quality of their serving. Thanks for this! Very interesting. I thought this was the best badger serving team I have ever seen over 25 years, but it was also obvious there were some really good serving teams all around the B1G. I feel like the standard has really crept upward markedly in the last few years. I didn't think they served that well in the final, and they passed worse. Rettke's serving and blocking game took a real leap forward this year, IMO. Your numbers don't surprise me in that respect.

Yeah, that is just sick and unfair, and, since it is my favorite team doing it, I love it.

Rutgers is the school not recognized in any sort of way in prepvolleyball’s recruiting class rankings.
So... when we dropping them?

Is their football program even that good or desirable? Nooo they’re terrible. They’ve won less games in the past 5 seasons cumulatively than any other B1G school.

Rutgers gives the B1G access to NYC.... other than that..... they don't contribute a lot

The schedule is of course a big separator
