TV schedule for Wisconsin (so far) 1/22 Wisc vs Purdue 5:30 PM BTN 1/23 vs Purdue 8:00 PM BTN 2/20 vs Michigan St 6:00 PM BTN 2/26 vs Nebraska 7:00 PM BTN 2/27 vs Nebraska 7:00 PM BTN 3/17 vs Minnesota 8:00 PM BTN 3/21 vs Minnesota TBA BTN 3/26 vs Penn State TBA BTN 3/27 vs Penn State TBA BTN 4/1 vs Michigan 6:00 PM BTN 4/2 vs Michigan 2:00 PM ESPNU These must be in ET otherwise the 1/22 match is in conflict with Indiana v Nebraska. Right? I got them from Wisconsin’s site so I’m not sure. I would trust these times more than the BTN site (where I got the first ones from) |

Six days out and still no broadcast schedule, I'm getting a little nervous. There is a 6:30 - 10:00 p.m. Friday night slot on BTN with nothing on the schedule, hopefully that is our opening day volleyball block. BTN+ is currently showing just two matches; Iowa vs. Illinois at 4:30 p.m. ET and Indiana vs. Nebraska at 6:00 p.m. ET. |

Six days out and still no broadcast schedule, I'm getting a little nervous. There is a 6:30 - 10:00 p.m. Friday night slot on BTN with nothing on the schedule, hopefully that is our opening day volleyball block. BTN+ is currently showing just two matches; Iowa vs. Illinois at 4:30 p.m. ET and Indiana vs. Nebraska at 6:00 p.m. ET. One of those matches is on BTN and the other is on BTN+; the 2 matches on the 23rd are both on BTN+. This is frustrating. They are waiting till the last minute to let us know. The Big Ten Network website has a slot open on Jan. 22nd from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm with nothing showing yet. I hope they fill it with volleyball.  |

That Wisconsin schedule doesn't seem to jive with the games listed on BTN+ and UW has not added the TV links to it's schedule. Seems late in the game to be doing this, but I imagine there are discussions ongoing about what is possible re televising matches using school resources in a pandemic. What you can or can't do on that front may influence what you decide to show on BTN proper.

Seems late in the game to be doing this, but I imagine there are discussions ongoing about what is possible re televising matches using school resources in a pandemic. What you can or can't do on that front may influence what you decide to show on BTN proper. I'm going to rely on Wisconsin website. They are more dynamic with keeping the schedule up. |

What angers me is so many matches on B10+ , why not put football and basketball on B10+ to generate revenue? I for one am not paying to watch volleyball on TV, in person yes but on TV no way. Sorry but if they want to grow the sport they need to have it on a not pay per view platform.

Sorry but if they want to grow the sport they need to have it on a not pay per view platform. im not an expert but i would guess the TV revenue is greater than the revenue they'd get from BTN+ for football/basketball (plus contractual obligations they have to fulfill) BTN has the best coverage of volleyball in the entire country. You're paying for that anyways and they've improved their volleyball coverage every single year. It's not possible to have every game on TV. It could be worse. They could just not be streamed at all lol |

Don't bank on any games from Ann Arbor getting streamed unless BTN or ESPN are in house providing the feed. I am fully expecting to follow the opening weekend against Penn State on Live Stats. |

The Big Ten Network finally published their women's volleyball schedule for the 22nd and 23rd.
1/22/20 at 6:30 pm -- B1G Women's Volleyball: Purdue at Wisconsin
1/23/20 at 4:00 am -- Replay of Purdue at Wisconsin
1/23/20 at 9:00 pm -- 2nd Replay of Purdue at Wisconsin (yikes!)
BTN+ shows that the Nebraska vs Indiana match is scheduled to air on BTN at 6:00 pm on Jan. 22nd (not Purdue at Wisconsin). What gives?!!
