Shaffmaster I can agree with the more I think about it. But I have found Cullen extremely impressive for a freshman are you friends with her no but that’s the second time you’ve asked me if I’m friends with a player that I post that I liked on here. So I’ll clear the air. I’m not friends with any major d1 women’s volleyball player so you can stop asking me if I’m friends with someone when I post praise about them on here. Thanks

I don't know what you could have possibly seen in four losses (3 of which were sweeps and 2 of which she played in a 6-2) that makes you think she's above Hames right now. And I'm no Hames fan.

Purdue is a legit team...there is a lot of Volley to be played yet...BUT, I surely see B1G as the overwhelming dominant conference and it isn't close. I would put Purdue vs Wash, vs Florida, vs BYU, vs ND, vs Louisville, etc. I would love to see a Purdue vs Baylor, as that would be an excellent match.

Because we saw that match up in 2019 and I didn't care for the result 😑

Purdue might just serve them off the court lol Harrison and Pressly can’t pass. Van Slate and Shanel are good passers. I think but I could be mistaken the teams passing percentage is not as bad as everyone thinks. However Bc neither outside can pass they have to do some very weird rotation 1 stuff that costs them points. Anyways this is not the thread for this just saying I don’t think that’s quite accurate

You're sold on Minnesota? Nebraska not showing any weaknesses either? Even then, UCLA, Utah, Washington State, and Oregon all look very solid to me. We'll see how the rest works out.

Serve and pass is what keeps them in matches. Baylor struggles with both. I could see Purdue beating them.

I might be the only one but I was disappointed with the Purdue offense vs Minnesota. They had a 55% GP% but only a 30.6% FBSO. The Gophers only had a 38% GP but a 31.4% FBSO.

For all the plaudits for Purdue's defense, they're second-to-last in the Big Ten in opponent hitting percentage. Losing both middles doesn't seem to be accounted for. And even with SOS, other teams have played two top opponents too. And Illinois did a better job defending Iowa than Purdue did - Indiana was more comparable defensively.
