Wisconsin beat #3 ranked Minnesota And won 2 matches vs #9 ranked Purdue UCLA finished ranked #15 Dude are you even listening??? You have to be delusional to think the Minnesota team and Purdue team that Wisconsin faced were worthy of those ranks. I'm starting to think you don't actually watch any of the matches and just look at the match results... I think those teams at full strength deserve those rankings, but those teams were not at full strength. If anything, it's kind of embarrassing that Minnesota took a set off of Wisconsin with the lineup they put out there. Minnesota had a setter on the floor that's a third string setter. You're really making people not like Wisconsin...and I like Wisconsin lmao While I agree with you on BadgerMania being a bit...interesting in his/her arguments, I would say that I didn't find Wisconsin losing a set (and being pushed hard in the 4th) to Minnesota embarrassing at all. Wisconsin was also playing with a backup setter and hadn't played at all in a month by that time. I am surprised they looked as good as they did, frankly. Doesn't change the point you're making. Minnesota was a mess. Purdue was without Cleveland. I am sure 'Mania would be using the excuse of Hilley being out had Wisconsin lost that match.

Yeah agreed. There's no point in defending Wisconsin's resume now when they already won and are the number 1 seed. I don't think anyone is arguing that they shouldn't be the number 1 seed. I'm just excited to see Wisconsin actually have to work for some wins. The potential UCLA/BYU matchup will be their toughest test of the season no doubt. so you are saying that the Minnie & Purdue matches, due to the circumstances with each at the time, were less challenging than an non-seeded UCLA? Not claiming you are wrong...just highlighting this aspect. Yeah, I would agree with that. I feel like most people thought UCLA would be seeded or wouldn't have been mad if they got a seed. Fleck would be the best libero Wisconsin has seen all season, and May/McCall are probably the best OH duo Wisconsin will have seen all season.

Yes, I was definitely being a bit dramatic, but you get my point haha

she wasn’t their main setter last year. She was the back up to Miller. Purdue didn’t have their best player. 47 points. You make me not want to be a Wisconsin fan anymore
