Interesting that Air Force has matches scheduled against Army and Navy after the conclusion of the regular season, the 1st week of the NCAA Tournament. Yeah, sure, no chance that Air Force wins the Mountain West, but I'm not sure I've seen that before. Correct me if I'm wrong, but normally teams are only allowed to play in the NCAA tournament or an approved NCAA tournament (volleyball NIT) once the tournament starts. Exception was allowed for this year.

I do not have access to NCAA manual at the moment, but do not believe that the NCAA has to approve it. Let's call it the armed forces invitational

Resurrecting this thread with schedules and updated rosters.
Most teams have already posted their schedules - season starts the first week of February and goes for 8 weeks. First six weeks teams play the same team on back-to-back nights. Last two weeks of the season playing four different teams once.
Allegedly the MW was going to bring back the conference tournament this year, but COVID scrapped that - but it seems to be in the works to make a comeback.

P.S. For you fantasy league peeps, Breana Runnels seems to be coming back for the spring season 😉 (although idk if playing 8/11 weeks is desirable for fantasy league...)
CSU updated their roster, and the only two not on the roster are seniors Ellie Gubser and Jenna Heinemeyer (both graduating).

Did the MWC explicitly say they are not allowing their teams to not play non-conference matches?
Everything I've read leads me to believe that, but nobody explicitly said it (to my knowledge?)

I guess it doesn’t sound as bad saying conference-only, and under baseball it says Teams are permitted to play non-conference matches. Just say they aren’t permitted in volleyball.

Did the MWC explicitly say they are not allowing their teams to not play non-conference matches? The way that this is worded, it makes it sound like you are asking if noncon matches are mandatory.

Made sure to get players who are playing in Week 1 and 2 (for Fantasy) since MW doesn't start until Week 3. But I am trying to decide between 4 people for my last OH spot and not sure who will get taken by other players before me.

Interesting that Ciera Zimmerman was elected to the Preseason Team when she only played a handful of sets last year - does a player with limited playing time usually get elected to Preseason teams?
I would have gone with Camryn Machado from SDSU, she got snubbed if you ask me. I'm warming up to SDSU more as time goes on. I think they're a real darkhorse.
