Thanks for this. Sure are lot of home matches...great! As we thought, we are hosting ISU for a mid-week matchup. Weird that the Grand Canyon St match isn't listed on the actual schedule on the website (link below) but is on GCSU's website as Sunday, Sept 10 and the write-up lists that we are playing them, too. Maybe it was just missed here...hmmm. Also, noticing they list the home games as being in Iowa City, as opposed to Coralville like they have done in the past when the matches are at Xtream. hawkeyesports.com/sports/wvball/schedule/ |

Looks like the Hawks had an Elite camp today. Couple days before the June 15th call. 2025 class has some nice talent. Hope to hear some big fish chose the Hawks. Some names that attended via various social media...instate athletes OH Abbey Hayes, L Dakota Mitchell, OH/DS AK Christensen. Bella Bonanno L from Arkansas & club Ozark Juniors. Abbey Hayes would be a really good get from Iowa. Only seen her play once but she has all the signs of a great college player. Iowa fans would love getting her. Haven’t seen any post yet on the committed player. From Oklahoma. I saw the early post about OH/Opp. Might be a Libero from Oklahoma, is my guess. |

should win every single preseason match. That’s a big statement for a team that has lost 5 starters including their top player, and they won only 10 matches. If they beat Iowa State that would be a major upset with all the unknowns. Iowa is still a BIG 10 team and those preseason opponents are doable. Can’t default to losing 5 starters etc etc. although I do agree about Iowa state. Keep the faith! |
