If other elite players from her class are going to USC it might be what puts them over the top for her. I admittedly have not watched much of Faumuina but have heard good things about her hitting and setting. Is she stronger at setting? |

Doubt she’s coming in as a OH. She’s no Luper. I meant positively or negatively. If other elite players from her class are going to USC it might be what puts them over the top for her. I admittedly have not watched much of Faumuina but have heard good things about her hitting and setting. Is she stronger at setting? Understood. And I think she’s good at both but being recruited primarily to set. |

This is a good comparison. I wouldn't be surprised to see her swing a few times in college. She is also playing beach there. |

S Riley Buckley from NC to Mizzou per her Instagram. Great get! Huge get for Josh. Riley is a great setter. Surprised she isn't going to a more highly ranked program. Although 2021 was loaded with setter any I don't think alot of top program were looking. Mizzou has a 2021 setter commit from Rockwood... interesting. |

Mizzou has mostly solidified a reputation of being the third best program in the SEC, and I think Josh is one of the more promising young coaches in the country, so I'm not necessarily surprised that Riley would want to go and lead that program especially since the SEC/ACC region is her home, but maybe a little surprised Josh landed her commitment. I imagine she had a lot of quality suitors. I'm happy for them. Now Josh has his QB and can recruit pins and middles using Riley as his center piece. |
