I agree. I think there will be a flurry of commitments. Some girls were deep into the process before the new rules were in place. Plus all of the uncertainty on when visits will be able to happen, I think they will jump on offers when presented. They won’t want the process to drag out too long. Why? And how could anyone advising these athletes encourage them, in good conscience, to commit before they have had a chance to visit a school? What is your definition of "dragging out too long"? Visits are allowed to begin in August...

There is another top 2022 talent, Gala Trubint from Coast VBC club. She always played up her age division, so she played 16's last year and was voted onto All american team last year at 2019 USAV 16 Open Division. She plays for Coast VBC 17-1 this year.

Once they can visit in August I could see many of them committing in the fall and not dragging it out until Spring.

Once they can visit in August I could see many of them committing in the fall and not dragging it out until Spring. Personally, I think committing in June or July is unadvisable. There is a big difference between attending camp and really seeing the team up close and in person on a visit. The practice gym and a match day will tell them much more, not to mention getting to meet the current athletes, some of which they will actually play with. Also, seeing the campus when the general student body is there, making sure it's the right fit. Theoretically, they haven't talked to any of these coaches in over a year, so there will be a lot to catch up on and likely some changes to both the athletes and the schools situations in that time.

I know of at least 2 that have Texas in their top 3 who are the two? Top recruits for the last 10 years have had Texas in their top three. Not that Texas has any real shortcomings as a program, but if they did, signing top players ain’t one of them
