WTF. kokyu is making as much sense as the announcers who will happily tell you that teams that win the first two sets usually win the match. Of course they do ... not only do they have to only win one more set, but usually going up 2-0 indicates a team is better. Likewise, OF COURSE people who are sick enough to seek treatment have worse outcomes, and OF COURSE the sickest of the sick who go on to ICU and tubes have worse outcomes yet. It's not because the ICU causes them to die. The causality is the other way around. They are dying, and that's why they end up in ICU.

"In a potential leap forward in the global fight against the pandemic, drugmaker Merck said Friday that its experimental pill for people sick with COVID-19 reduced hospitalizations and deaths by half. If cleared by regulators, it would be the first pill shown to treat COVID-19, adding a whole new, easy-to-use weapon to an arsenal that already includes the vaccine. The company said it will soon ask health officials in the U.S. and around the world to authorize the pill’s use. A decision from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration could come within weeks after that, and the drug, if it gets the OK, could be distributed quickly soon afterward." Taken in the early stages of infection and the patient has a higher chance of getting through it.

Get vaccinated or you don't get to be an active member of society. I'm not discounting your PSA. Getting vaccinated is part of learning to live with it. Then again we are all part of society (some contribute more than others to be sure). The only ones who are 'removed from society' are those who have committed a crime. Not getting vaccinated is not a crime...yet.

Those who want to enjoy travel, shopping, restaurants, a job etc. get vaccinated.

Are they allowed to wear a mask outside?

Because they aren't vaccinated. Masks stop the spread. Masks and vaccines reduce the chance of transmission. You really should try to keep up.
