If anyone has VPN or consider getting one, I suggest they either use it or get one. If history is any guide, NBC seldom show the whole matches in their entirety and cuts or just skip broadcasting some entirely in favor of some "human interest" story, like the latest shenanigans of Ryan Lochte. It really looks like these matches were intentionally scheduled in US prime time specifically so they CAN broadcast them live. Japan plays the second to last slot each day except for one on the 28th where they are in the 3rd time slot. I doubt the USA's schedule was at all intentional.....but I'll take it! On the Men's side the same thing occured where they have the 2nd or the 6th time slot every day.

Damn. Welcome back to the Olympics Turkey. They face China, Italy and USA in the first three matches. Ooooofff. I'll bet that last qualification spot is going to come down to the last day when they play Russia to see who moves on and who goes home. Then again....either of Russia and/or Turkey could beat the USA in which case our girls will HAVE to beat China and/or Italy to even make it out of the pool. Or will USA pull off another dominant and undefeated pool play run?!

I just thought about this....but what is everyone going to do in order to watch the other non-USA matches? Is there a plan for those of us with VPN's? Any suggestions?

IF anything, we can always count on these links that just cover the games. I mean, it's the Olympics. There'll be like 10 available. What do you mean by this? Where will there be other available?

In Rio, I used the NBC Sports app on my Roku. It required a cable subscription but was a place for every game to show in one place. It showed every game (not only USA) from start to finish. It was the best.

They could charge more money since purchasing the broadcasting rights would be expensive.

Not a bad deal if you ask me

Youtube TV will probably be my go-to. only $50 or so per month and will have all the NBC owned channels Love YoutubeTV. I get it duringmonths when there's a sporting event, or very occasionally a show, I want to watch in real time. Since it's so easy to stop and start, I get rid of it for months here and there and save the $50 for those months.. It's going to be great for the Olympics.

YT TV is definitely the way to go if you want the most user friendly service. It's more expensive than Sling but its interface is so much better and they'll have all the channel's anyone will need for the olympics.

Maybe it's improved since then, but I'm not taking chances for the Olympics. There's a lot of sports and events I want to watch and I'm really comfortable with the YoutubeTV service, interface, etc.
