I'm pretty sure there's a thread talking about the schedule so I'm going to make one dedicated to it.

I honestly don't think you could ask for a better schedule, from a fan's perspective.

Do they announce the final roster a few days before the first match?

Do they announce the final roster a few days before the first match? It'll be a lot earlier than that. Rio and London were both in early July. Toyko will start earlier than both of those though. VNL may add a complication but probably not

I love the USA's schedule. Not one match is during the middle of the night here in America and we don't play China and Italy back to back competition days which is good. Having Turkey after China is good and having Russia before Italy is good although in the past two major tournaments (2018 WCH and 2019 WCup) we have gone 5 sets with Russia. Will history repeat itself?!

I wonder if the games will available on Volleyball TV? In the US? NBC owns everything Olympics. It’ll all be exclusively on their networks.

I wonder if the games will available on Volleyball TV? They won't be but they'll be on NBC's host of channels and online to stream. I believe volleyball aired on CNBC in Rio. given the night slots of these games I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen again.

Youtube TV will probably be my go-to. only $50 or so per month and will have all the NBC owned channels

If anyone has VPN or consider getting one, I suggest they either use it or get one. If history is any guide, NBC seldom show the whole matches in their entirety and cuts or just skip broadcasting some entirely in favor of some "human interest" story, like the latest shenanigans of Ryan Lochte.

I'd watch it on the NBC site. Plus volleyball shouldnt have that issue being on CNBC/some other side channel... any sport on NBC or NBCSN might tho Where can you watch it with a vpn?

It really looks like these matches were intentionally scheduled in US prime time specifically so they CAN broadcast them live.

IF anything, we can always count on these links that just cover the games. I mean, it's the Olympics. There'll be like 10 available.
