Are you serious? Nothing against JT but taking out hill over jt? The season isn't even started and you guys think that jt will be effective on that position and your idea is to bring her in tokyo for that position over krob and hill who are both playing in very high level for many yrs over jt who we aren't even sure if she'll be effective. And who will sub drews? Plummer? Or lowe? Let's not push too much on jt as oh for Olympic 2020, maybe she can replace hill, larson or mbh after that but not this coming 2021.these veterans already played in Olympic they've been on that situation and the pressure is very different compare to other leagues or tournament. And they won bronze in 2016 and 5th in 2018. Not the best finishes with Hill as a starter. Gotta get the youth involved. I think based on what I have seen, Thompson and Plummer have higher ceilings than Hill does. Remember....Hill doesn't play at the same level on the NT that she does with Conegliano. It's just the way it is. I think everyone is just excited to see these new young players break onto the team. That doesn't mean they will make the Tokyo roster but many on here are pulling for them. ... and they won USA’s only ever Gold in a major tournament with her at starter. Remember, the one where she was named USA’s only ever MVP at a major tournament? Even if we take into account that we are 6 years later, I’d argue that she has the highest ceiling of any of the four. I also think there’s a difference coming into a coming into the national team season off a three month break as opposed to fresh off a dominant club run, which it seems Conegliano is gearing up to do in the coming season. I don’t think there’s that big a gap between any of our top 4 outsides and think you all invest way too much in what happened in 2019, while many of our top players were taking time off and we weren’t playing top competition. Let’s wait until we see JT pass against top competition before throwing out a player who has won best OH awards at a major club or national tournament in 5 of the last 6 years.

Totally agree with this. Hill's 2019 with the NT wasn't great but that doesn't mean she's out of that position already. With best OH in almost every tournament she had this season, will you ignore that? It's okay to involve young athlete i get it but this is olympic, the pressure is totally different from other fivb tournament where jt played. And the idea of replacing hill with jt in that position? Seriously?

They've also added in Ebrar and Bursa.... they wont touch Ecz/Vakif. Fenerbache will drop a bit losing Krob and JT but they'll still be good. Maybe shoot for fourth? Galatasaray isnt a slouch either Does this league have any official page? I cannot find anything like Italy's A1 that has so much info and games streamed etc. its not great. They have www.tvf.org.tr/ but its very hard to use and doesn't have a lot of information. There's supposed to be a page with the different Turkish leagues but I can't to get it to work.

I hope they get some loaned players, last year they had Zheng Yixin (MB) and Lin Li (L). Both added more depth/experience on the team and in my opinion was one of the reasons they got as far as they did.

I don’t understand THY. They said they wanted to make a strong team to rival the big 3 but then they couldn’t get any OHs better than Kingdon and Santana who had mediocre seasons the past one. 🙄

Great move for JT if she's playing consistently, on the right. Esp since Plummer isn't looking to stay in Europe to develop as an OH, JT can be the next best option for the national team. Where will Plummer go?

Honestly, they may be lucky to keep the club going for another couple years. If this goes on for another year the professional team is just a big, unnecessary expense.

Also, with Carlini, the pins could find great success with a top notch setter. Also, just realizing this. Where’s Ebrar going?? Is she playing OH or OPP? Both?

She took nearly the entire summer off, joining the team a couple weeks before the World Cup.
