This pro season is going to be different than years past. With the report date for many clubs being moved up, we have some players leaving Anaheim for their pro teams next week! More are reporting in July & August. A side effect of this virus (and an effective summation of 2020 thus far) is that it now looks unlikely that we will have a single day in this calendar year in which the entire USA team will have been able to train together in Anaheim. Who are the players leaving next week? That sucks. I was looking forward to seeing stories of them training together. It seems though that you are right that if it happens, they won't be able to train together this year which is always not a good thing. Probably Hancock and Washington. Novara plan to begin training on July 8th. www.agilvolley.com/igornovara.asp?id=3&idnews=3030

Are contact sports allowed in Italy already? Italian soccer is under way. The Coppa Italia semifinals were this past weekend. Serie A resumes on Friday.

If that’s the case well then at least Hancock and Washington have each other to train with. Gives them some sort of piece of USA Volley with them.

Their starters are still arguably the best in the world.

No other team will have that kind of chemistry, at least not for a while. My money’s on Imoco. But it’ll be fun watching pretty much every other team in the league for various reasons. Personally, I can’t wait to continue watching Poulter and Alhassan.

Karakurt is on loan to Turkish Airlines and Pinar Atasever (Libero) transferred to Aydin B.B.K. Scandicci, Monza and Fenerbahce also retained many of their core players. I am currently working on a little roster project for all of the major leagues (Italy, Turkey, Brazil, Russia) as well as some of the top teams in the German, Polish and French leagues. There are several teams that have made significant upgrades to their rosters that I think will be really fun to watch this next year. I am still waiting on an official list of participants for the European Cups to be released. I am also curious if the FIVB will have the Club World Championships this year or not?

Not sure who can cover her to receive the ball. She's been in consist. They could have at least renew 1 of either sarokaite and geertis. Any idea how adams play with her previous club?

I’m sure better than Sylla’s ball control.

If sylla did not improve I'll bet vakifbank.

I don’t think it’s that straightforward to say that Imoco will struggle because of Sylla. They’ve shown that they can win Cups and Championships even with only Egonu sending out bombs. They only really need someone who can come in to pass for Sylla when she struggles.
