From Robinson's IG story, she's waiting for her visa in order to go to China. Hopefully everything goes smoothly with little to no problems.

I think that's the rule in japan? Club team will do the announcement first. You expect it by end of September. Rob already confirmed she'll play in china thru her IG story. I think they are all just waiting for the approval of Visa.

That clip from the Utah match was classic Hentz (including cheating too much inside!).

This is huge. CVL won't be taking in foreigners for the 20/21 season. t.co/bTCn7V6F6a?amp=1What will happen to Robinson, Dixon and Larson? Will this also happen in Japan?

"According to our source, the decision was not made due to the situation with coronavirus."
So this is a blatant attempt to screw over volleyball players who will challenge China for gold in Tokyo?

Is it too late to sign with other clubs?
Robo could reach out to Fenerbahce for another round? They look like they need passing stability.
From the looks of it, Nantes in france has an injured Schwabe, would be an easier domestic league but would have champions league?

I’m sure if they wanted to they could get picked up somewhere if they wanted. Other players affected are Rabadzhieva, Lippmann and Bjelica. Was Hooker also going to return to China? Or did she retire?

I can't remember their third foreign player. I think we'll see them stay home and play for AU. Since that was most of their plans anyways. I think it's bigger problems if we still Japan follow suit and there's no where for Drews or Plummer

I have a friend who lives in Tokyo and says things are getting bad again.

WorldofVolley sometimes gets information incorrect and this is one of those times I hope it is, but if it is in fact true then the Chinese Volleyball Association is going to face some backlash from the clubs who already made contracts with players for this upcoming season. It would be unfair for the players who now would have to make last minute arrangements (which is even more hard given the current worldwide situation) and find another team if still possible.
Maybe their source got the news mixed up with the National Championship which is supposed to begin next week and end early October without the use foreign players. A short domestic competition with local players only to get things started before the season.
