The world will be forced to get back to it soon, if you think this virus is bad just wait until you see the aftermath of millions out of work with no money.

Also, spare me the millions will die stuff, those models are a mess. ok Boomer. Ha!! Sounds exactly like my 13 year old son. "Ok Boomer..." as I whip his ass in ping pong.... again! Boomer has to be the 2020 Word of the year. Errr... Or maybe COVID or CORONA.

Also, spare me the millions will die stuff, those models are a mess. We’ve come full circle when 405 and Travis have both chosen the same hill to die on.

I wonder what happens to the biennial events of Beach Volleyball World Champs (Rome) and FINA World Champs (Fukuoka).

What ever happened to the Florida Fivb event? That was a really great tournament.

my comment was only meant to point out the ignorance of anyone claiming to know what this virus is capable of doing and potentially prioritizing "the economy" over human lives.... the same economy that has weathered two world wars and a great depression and still bounced back over literally hundreds of thousands of lives. #priorities.

What ever happened to the Florida Fivb event? That was a really great tournament. The 5* one was cancelled a few weeks before it was supposed to start in 2019. The 3* one was cancelled in 2019. They never had an event listed in Florida for 2020. We can only hope for next year...

If, hypothetically, the coronavirus slows down and the end of the summer and only has a minor resurgence in fall, would the FIVB possibly consider holding some event when they normally don't, like Nov/Dec? They would have to be held in very warm locations, or the southern hemisphere.
This would allow the players to make a little money, and the FIVB to stabilize before the 2021 season.
