This will be kim hill's last game in serie a1. Started 2017 all championship 3 consecutive years if not mistaken.

In the post-match interview Kim Hill confirmed that this was her last Serie A1 game. The interviewer asked her if she will retire (after the Olympics) or continue playing volleyball (maybe in AU Pro League). She replied that she hasn't decided yet.

One thing I'll be interested to see next season is if Egonu's attack % can sustain it's level without Hill's passing
(it probably will, but that's a huge loss and Courtney isn't near of an offensive threat)

In Serie A1, the record is 72 wins in a row (held by Ravenna, in the 80s). The all-time record is held by VakifBank (73). One more reason for Vakif to beat Imoco.

62 consecutive wins for Imoco since a 5 set loss to Perugia in the Serie A1 regular season back on 12/12/2019. That was with the entire bench on the court too. The A team's win record since Egonu joined the season is quite a bit longer (89 wins. 90 if you include a preseason friendly vs Bergamo before the 2019/2020 season).
Wow. Egonu is currently the top player on the club scene right now, winning it all.
Internationally she as only won ONE major MVP award (2019 Club World Championships). The first of many I'm sure.
Imoco are the favorites heading into the CL finals. It's just such a shame that it is not a series.

too many. Let's go Vakif lol 64 I counted 62...unless there are two matches I missed? I looked all the way back to their last loss, which was vs. Perugia in the regular season in December of 2019.
