I mean or because they're not that good anyways I have to agree...I don’t think that had anything to do with the decision to include them in the top 15 I think MIT is comparable to the bottom of the table, take a team like (14) North Central. - MIT: (17-4 record) Losses against: Stevens, Wentworth, Endicott and New Paltz Key win vs Vassar - North Central (12-6 record) Losses against: Aurora, Milwaukee Sch. of Eng., Benedictine, New Paltz, Carthage, St. Joe's LI Key Win vs NYU I just thought that overall, MIT lost to better teams. I also understand other factors like recruiting classes and graduating seniors come into play, which is something I know less about. Again, I'm just being nitpicky and MIT receiving the most votes out of unranked teams is also fair.

IF UVC plays, the play will begin in the middle of March (per UVC AD's meeting)

IF UVC plays, the play will begin in the middle of March (per UVC AD's meeting) With MIT out, I would expect NYU to drop next. Questions for me would be Bard, New Paltz, and Vassar. I would imagine Bard and Vassar would be lock-step in decision. If all three drop that would leave the conference with: Elmira, Nazareth, Sage, & SJFC (E8 Schools)

You have Bard, New Paltz, and Vassar as a group of three. If all three drop out, New Paltz would not be one of the teams left.

E8 teams in UVC now only include Elmira, Naz, and Fisher.

Already posted in another thread, but MIT lands a huge pair of commitments from the Oh twins (Balboa Bay 18-1). Saw both players in the 16's finals at BJNC 2019, where the twin duo ended up as all-tournament selections. Expecting both to make an immediate impact on the D3 scene. 2 D1/2 Level players playing D3. This move definitely because of academics. I mean why would they pass up one of the best school's in the Nation for academics? With Stanford dropping their men's program many of the boys who would have attended Stanford will start going to these highly coveted D3 academic institutions. NYU, MIT, VASSAR will start to get those kids IF Harvard and Princeton don't get them first.

Considering that most teams are months away from playing their first matches, it feels crazy to say that we’re only two weeks away from D3 volleyball being back.
D3 volleyball fam, let’s prepare ourselves to live and die by the MCVL’s ability to stay COVID-free for at least the next month or so.
