is she tall enough to fit in at Wisconsin Someone correct me if I am wrong but I think she's 6'4" and I think the Badgers would be ecstatic if they got her. i'm aware of that. it was a badly construed dig on my part at the badgers' tall middles

I think Ayden has a better chance of playing at Wisconsin

Ames to Wisconsin would make sense from a playing quickly standpoint. At middle Smrek will be a major force for three more years. The other roster middles graduate either after this year or after 2023. Nebraska will have their two freshmen this year for two more years after the 2024 class arrives. Plus explosive Andi Jackson from 2023 would be a third middle. Whoever gets her gets a top middle and the road to playing is quicker if she chooses Wisconsin. Wisconsin is starting to benefit for winning the national championship too. Whether the transfer portal or just the high school ranks, Ames is a prize.

I think Ayden has a better chance of playing at Wisconsin I agree. Smrek, Robinson, and Crawford will be there, but competition will be fierce. She’s got star power.

Not gonna lie, even as a NE fan I was feeling a little greedy for wanting Ames lol
Allick & Mendelson: '22 Jackson '23
That's a lot of talent to then go after the top '24 middle. Allick is already a polished volleyball player with lots of experience, Mendelson has the potential to be a monster and Jackson is insanely athletic and has a hammer.

You have a clear picture of your setter situation; we do not.

She's an ambitious MB and I think she wants to go where there is a history of great MBs. But I don't have super inside scoop, just a little talking here and there. I haven't had a great record of predicting, but just like gambling, I am trying my luck with this one. She certainly doesn't need to give a reason for why she'd choose to go to Wisconsin - but saying that the program has a history of great MB's seems like a stretch, especially when compared to other programs. Beyond Rettke, who is a generational talent and would have been an elite MB at ANY school, Wisconsin's history at MB development doesn't look particularly standout.

Almost guaranteed with where your program is at. Wisconsin is elite in women’s volleyball in the best conference in the country. Imo.
