That is the original poster's 1st post on this board, and that's how you react to them? For all we know, the poster is in the class of 2024 and is interested in knowing about that class. The poster obviously doesn't know the history of the early recruiting discussion around here. This is the stuff that gives this message board a bad name. |

Come on people. It’s very common for schools to be watching 13 and 14 year olds. There was a 2023 thread a year ago and now look at those athletes. Of course this is not the norm for most athletes but do think that Stanford and Nebraska, etc aren’t looking at incoming freshman?

I really haven’t heard much but Lauren Harden and Skyler Pierce are tall and look like they are getting some attention.

The timing of it threw me off with the uncertainty of things. I have not heard anything on 2024 class or 2025. Hopefully soon. |

I don’t get the aversion of talking about future recruits. I mean, just a few weeks ago, college coaches were publicly picking off 2023 players in like a cut throat draft style for big time recognition in the volleyball world, but now we can’t even casually talk about 2024’s on a message board? Seems inconsistent.

In 2024, I'll be 60 and, most likely, I'll have bigger fish to fry. Since when is anyone convinced that we're going to make it all the way through 2020?? On a serious note : I don't know that it does these young players any favors to thrust them into a spotlight to satisfy the boredom of anonymous posters. FWIW I don't think that college coaches involving players that they are not even allowed to talk to yet in a cut throat style draft is appropriate either. At least the PrepVolleyball awards require nomination by someone close to those athletes in real life. |
