It’s not my reasoning, I think coach cook talked about the possibility. Then again, she could play exclusively in the middle, on a basketball court. You were talking about 2024 I was indeed

You can do better than that reasoning. Jurevicius and Batenhorst will be battling at Opposite, and Murray, Pierce, Krause and Kubik battling for the left pin spots. No reason whatsoever to move Mendelson to the right side unless you want to sit 4 of those 6 pin hitters in 2024 Except that Coach Cook has said on separate occasions that Mendelson has a chance to start as a Freshman and that she will get a look at Opp. Yes, but the truth is, she is spending now until the beginning of fall vb camp primarily training with the wbb team, so her opportunity to train at opp will be limited. As for MB, Hord and Caffey seem to have those spots secured. . . I do expect Krause will be much improved at opp this fall. Mendelson is a great talent and was the best MB on the U18 US team that won a world bronze a year ago, but her chance to play a substantial role this fall appears to be slim. We’ll see how it goes. 🏐

Idk but I don’t think slim is the right word.

As for her making the U19 team, if she does, that will be as a MB… I would rather she did not make the U19 team. She graduated a year early from high school, she is attempting to train and play two overlapping sports in the B1G…the are only 24 hours in a day and the teams that are coming to play in PBR or Devaney are tenfold the competition that she saw at Fremont. A growing body can only take so much. I hope she stays safe, but this appears to be driving a motorcycle without a helmet . . . We’ll see how it goes. . . As for “slim”, imo, it’s much less than slim. . . To the point of being the same as Matt Masker being the Husker starting QB this fall…. Sorry

I am pleasantly surprised that liberos and setters are the early commits.

Olivia Mauch to Nebraska. Assumption is she'll be on scholarship starting Spring 2025 when Roddy's 4 years runs out. Necessary to make the math work assuming Ames or another MB is in this class.

With Mauch to the Huskers, I wonder where Faith Frame from Premier's 16's ends up.

I think Ames has shown high interest in some schools other than Nebraska. But it does look like an MB might be next on the Husker's list.

And what she is doing now is probably a reprieve from what she has been managing for the last several years, in order to be a part of both usav and usab teams.

Sheffield just twitter posted a “BINGO” for Wisconsin. Would assume that's about Bramschreiber, no?
