Not gonna lie, even as a NE fan I was feeling a little greedy for wanting Ames lol Allick & Mendelson: '22 Jackson '23 That's a lot of talent to then go after the top '24 middle. Allick is already a polished volleyball player with lots of experience, Mendelson has the potential to be a monster and Jackson is insanely athletic and has a hammer. The Huskers lose 4 of their 5 MBs from last year (lose 5 for 5 if Caffey can't come back). So we can forgive some Nebraska fans if they are a little delirious with the coming of Hord and this stream of youngsters. |

With the ranking questions, just know there are no reliable rankings anymore. PV is atrocious. Truly. Would not rely on that for anything. PrepDig is better in that they have the top 20 in each position correct, but the order is way off base in a lot of cases. Like yeah, those are the top twenty outsides or setters or middles or whatever, but the order is all messed up. Kids are at #2 or #5 for their position that have zero business being that high and other kids are at #10 or #15 for their position that should not be that low. My point is, don’t get too wrapped up in rankings. They’re just not accurate.

Off topic but what is Favor Anyanwu’s over tank and ranked compared to the other middles in her class? She’s in top 20 of PD for MB but at 19. 96 overall. Way too low IMO. |
