May the best player win lol. Going to be some good MB competition in the husker gym smh. The Huskers lose 4 of their 5 MBs from last year (lose 5 for 5 if Caffey can't come back). So we can forgive some Nebraska fans if they are a little delirious with the coming of Hord and this stream of youngsters. A very good point from last year’s roster. I forgot all the losses at middle blocker. Graduation, move over to T&F(discus), medical hardship, graduate or just transfer to LBSU and maybe another graduation. That is about as heavy at a position that is possible for losses. Hord was critical for her extreme talent and experience at PSU. We needed a stalwart who was through the Big Ten and excelled for many years. The other two girls are very talented newbies in the strongest women’s volleyball indoor conference in the country. From my knowledge, the Big Ten can only say that in wrestling too. Maybe more so. |

I look at Metro 16 and don't see Erin Debiec committed. At 6'1" she has a strong front row presence and is a top shelf setter. But there is no rush for 2024s to commit. The good ones are getting lots of offers.

So who are all the top 2024 setters that are uncommitted right now? I feel like the only setter commitments I’ve seen have been Charlie Fuerbringer (Wisconsin) and Izzy Starck (Penn State). Both tremendous players So that leaves a bunch of really good uncommitted setters. I’ve seen a decent amount of Lilly Wagner, Stella Swenson, and Taylor Yu. They’re all fantastic. And I know there are some others who are considered top tier players who I just haven’t seen. |

She’s definitely versatile like Audrianna and is comfortable at either middle or pin. AA doesn’t quite have Fitzmorris’ size, but I think she is more athletic and moves better. Will be fun to watch how Nebraska uses her. |

Off topic but what is Favor Anyanwu’s over tank and ranked compared to the other middles in her class? She’s in top 20 of PD for MB but at 19. 96 overall. Way too low IMO. Wowwww that’s very surprising lol… |

Fitzmorris and Jenna Gray’s high school played Regan Pittman and Carlyle Nusbaum’s high school in the KS state championship and it was very entertaining. Ames reminds me waaaay more of Pittman than Fitzmorris at that age. |
