Good Lord lol...Im guessing getting a scholarship to play in college wasnt really needed then ha. If what I am reading is right, Avery Jackson at Mad Frogs must not be playing indoor anymore after this year and her commit to Stanford for beach, so that team broke up which makes sense now with a few heading to DN. I don't think Madfrog championship team broke up because of Avery Jackson. Playing for Ping in the 17s is a goal for many of the girls in the DFW area. These 4 players from Madfrog left because they want to play for Ping regardless of Avery Jackson. And that may be, but it certainly created a natural break for the team with Avery leaving. Like I said already, Ping had a loaded roster this year and didnt produce.

Couple of perspectives: 1. How many prep athletes in Texas are NOT changing clubs right now? 2. This is a chance for Jaela to play in Open. Helps further her development against the very best competition. Oh I dont disagree, I think any club taking credit for a kid that just moved over a week ago is not being fair. TAV had the relationship with Florida and should get credit in my opinion. What do you mean play open? TAV played a tough schedule and played many of the same open tourneys and teams. Skyline was beyond lucky to open qualify this year and did not qualify last year in open. In head to head matchups, I'm pretty sure TAV beat them twice this year. H Skyline got clubbed at nationals on top of that so this isnt some big upgrade. TAV was ranked higher all year within the region so maybe there is another excuse to use? TAV Houston didn't dominate in USA, either. I think there's a chance she elevates Skyline enough to make that move worthwhile.

Interesting she waited to announce after she switched clubs from tav to skyline. Tav did all the leg work. Kind of shady for skyline to take credit. Happens often.

Great get for Purdue... quite a bit of Lib/DS signings for the 2024 class. Interesting trend.

What are the individual strengths of '24 setters Charlie Fuerbringer (WI), Izzy Stark (PSU), Stella Swenson (Min), and Alexis Haury (Wash) and how do they compare with each other?

What is the success rate for college 5-1 setters when being a S in club vs. S/RS in club?
Is there a way we can quantify this? Maybe - look at the top 10-15 setters in college, then looking to see how many of them hit in club? Hancock worked out. But I am looking for a much bigger sample size.

Some we can keep an eye on from this 22 class are Harmony Sample (Notre Dame) and Ana Heath (Arizona) who both hit the front three and set the back three rotations in club. I know you were thinking about setters already playing in college but I think those two will be good examples to keep tabs on the next few years.

There we go. Jones was impressive at GJNC. Another one of those players joining the Pingdom next year.

Did Hilley hit in club or just high school? Only set in the Gold Medal Final when she won 18 Open with Minnesota Select in Milwaukee in 2016.
