Who’s the Italian player that LBSU got a commitment from ? Don't know an italian. Maybe the bulgarian? He is going to dominate the league based on what I have seen on video.

He is #11, search Boys U19 World Champs 2021. I heard he was also in a training group in Anaheim earlier this year, I think with his Bulgarian team, I heard his dad is a coach. Should be several posters here that saw him in person.

The same was about Torwie and he didn't exactly light it up last year. I thought Torwie would be better too based on him looking better than all our hitters when he played the U19 comps. I still think he will be a solid opp in the coming years as he matures, sort of like how Rado developed. This Bulgarian kid is different, every video I have seen, he looks next level. VT is for bold statements, I won't be surprised if he is AA his first year. Szerszen or Tillie level player.

Not a bad problem to have, but quite the log jam on the pins for Long Beach this year: - Godbold - Olivier - Lawrence - Nikolov - Torwie (if he develops)

Those three have more polish than the other 2 who will be solid back ups or maybe a red shirt a year.

Oh that kid is a monster I watched him throughout the tournament, massive pick up for Lbsu considering he could be pro material.

^not saying this is a terrible move, but didn't this team underperform at nationals? Seems like they weren't converting in the big moments, but maybe the card believe they can improve upon that. The sky is the limit for these kids, but I'm wondering if they're raw athleticism is needed for the card, who seem like they have plenty of that but less pure ballers who could play the game at a higher level on multiple aspects (ewert, madison hayden, brian cook)

Most people agree BaytoBay are the favorites with MB Surf and OCVC being pretty close as well. Athletics can’t be taught, remember that. Skills always can. Also not surprising as Stanford and B2B have a connection and Stanford hasn’t been a top program in recent years so they might look to build on them later on.
