I wonder if Bomgren is going to play in the series. It sounds like the players are expected to get to California early and isolate during the downtime between events. I don't know if it is feasible for Tim to go to for LA for a month. My guess is that he is not signing up, which is why Theo called Casey.
If Tim doesn't play, could we see Troy and Rosie together? They would be a fun team to watch with all of their natural athleticism. Eric Beranek also seems like a likely partner for Troy, since they are good friends, and he may be the best defender out there for him. Beranek/Benesh would be near the bottom of the Q if they sign up together.
Other teams I could see would be Reid/Ricardo, as they would be the 5th seed overall together, and Evans/Kolinske, since they have played so much together and are signed up for Waupaca together. If Troy and Beranek play together, Rosie might pick up David Lee again. We'll see what happens when the entry list comes out!

All that makes sense, Timmy probably can't take that much time off work, shame. Troy should try to grab Rosie, his best option in this scenario.

Dalcena are going to play right? Stay safe in Florida! Yes, stay safe from a virus roughly 99% of people recover from. Enjoy your timeout. When I said no politics, I meant it!

Results from the "little birdie" at Ground ZERO: Partain/Kolinksi, Patters/Theo, Troy/Tim, Hyden/Casebeer, Sean/Lotman . . . I like the Sean/Lotman, but I'm a "wannabe Rosie R."...LOL

Remind me again why is Miles Evans not playing? Was it because he signed with P1440?

You want Hyden at #6 main draw in place of Rosenthal (if rumors are accurate).

Remind me again why is Miles Evans not playing? Was it because he signed with P1440? Never mind. I see the updated list now with Evans and Ricardo. Almost forgot for a second that Kolinske/Evans broke up already.

This should really cause AVP to rethink how they award points. Jake/Taylor won 4 events and made 5 finals in 6 events - also had 1 3rd. Phil/Nick won 1, made 2 finals, and finished third or lower 4 times, with 2 5ths. No good system seeds Nick/Phil 1st on those result. Also Tim/Troy were in the semis regularly, Hyden made it once, yet Hyden has more points. Kolinske has almost the same points as Tim/Troy but played 3 events and went uno-dos in one. These inaccurate seeds are a much bigger problem than usual because that qualifier is absolutely deadly. Equivalent to an AVP thats held the same week as an FIVB. I count 7 recent AVP winners in the Q

What happened to Rosie/Casebeer? They had been training together. Mentioned earlier that Casebeer could avoid the Q by partnering with someone else.

Andy Benesh vs Troy Field. Is Field still clearly above him? Benesh is younger, and may have a higher FIVB ceiling.
