Is the Big 12 waiting for the Texas-TCU series to give player awards and all-conference mentions? Who do y’all think is up there?
I think Eggleston is a lock for POY. Best player on the winning team. For DPOY...I think Butler has a shot at it but I’m not sure any other names have shot out at me. FOY, I would give it to Carter at KSU. She’s having a huge season and hopefully will have a great career at KSU. Would be big for the conference if they continue to improve. SOY, Again, I like Martin at KSU. She impressed me in their 5 setter with Texas, but Gabriel could take it too as the setter on the best team that’s running the best offense. Coach of the Year? Sunahara? WVU is in fourth, which is a big improvement from the last few seasons.
I’ll be interested to see who makes the all-conference lists.

No way FOY goes to anyone other than Diouf from OU, she's the best freshman in the conference hands down. As far as SOY, I guess we would have to give it to Gabriel. I don't see the conference giving it to Martin.

I think you have to take that account and give it to Carter who's been putting up NUMBERS these last few weeks. (Sidenote: So disappointed that Parra couldn't come in the fall...Texas lost a chance to win it for the third year running: White in '16, Eggleston in '18, Fields in '19). I don't know enough about setting to call it between Gabriel and Martin, but I think it's between those two.

That's awkward. I edited it to fix it. But still, really wish Parra was here in the fall.

I don't know enough about setting to call it between Gabriel and Martin, but I think it's between those two. Diouf numbers are a little stronger but I agree, with Carter holding up her team all season and K-State being in 3rd she has a good chance of getting it. Martin is way down on the list of setters in stats no way she is even in contention. She splits time with the other setter who was injured in the beginning of the year. Zerwas, Kirby and Nichols are ahead of her in assists per set. Gabriel is going to get it. The only setters who I thought would have a chance is McLaughlin and she opted out this season and Mauck and Sedwick where out in the beginning of season which really hurt their numbers and their performance since hasn’t been as impressive as last year. Zerwas sure has improved and I think was crucial in WV doing so much better this year.

Take the crown sis.
